Tong Yan Treat

Tong Yan is a restaurant that we found along Jupiter Street. It's an eat-all-you-can / shabu-shabu restaurant which cost around more or less 500 pesos per head. Initially skeptical, I thought I wouldn't be able to to eat as much as I could for dinner.

But, but, but....I enjoyed it! First off, cooking/toasting the meat right on the table is much fun. There's a wide array of choices to pick! Meat, veggies, seafood balls...the list was endless!

We also had some soup. On this particular evening, we had Sinigang on one side, and Spicy Satay on the other side. As you can see in the picture, they serve the soup with nothing but the broth. The fun part, is you can get from the buffet any meat or veggie you like, and dunk them in there!!! Fun. Plus, the soup is also bottomless!! :)

Sinigang/Spicy Satay

Most, if not all.. of the meat were fresh! Check out the sheen on the fish. There were also hotdogs on the buffet, so the kids will like it too!

To cap the meal, there was also a dessert buffet- with a myriad of cakes, pastries and a halo-hao buffet. I didn't enjoy the dessert buffet very much though.

Cakes galore
It's a fun place to eat with a group-like family or friends! And better be hungry when you go there, para sulit!!
